I am the CEO Stepping Stone platform, a pediatrician by profession, a public health specialist and a life Coach.
Every year I make a goal of improving my faith through reading the Quran better, memorizing it and understanding concepts in it. At first, I tried teaching myself and I failed, then I went ahead to hire a sheikh but it all failed due to missed appointments and the busy schedule I had.
The solution was reached only when I joined Twahirah Islamic Center Online School and enrolled in the Tafseer and later joined the Quran course; I was assigned a personal Sheikh who teaches me in my free time, guides me and corrects all the mistakes I used to make before joining TIC.

My being a student of TIC dates way back even before the famous name you know. Sheikh Akram could teach us only one surah (chapter) a day because we were so busy to attend online classes, neither did we loss hope nor our teacher.
Time came when Twahirah grew and became bigger thus all the students Sheikh Akram was teaching had to be given another teacher. My teacher then advised me to memorize the Quran which idea I welcomed and I started right away.
Due to my busy schedule, I did not have much time to study, my morale started to deteriorate and I nearly lost hope.
One day, TIC posted a lady who had completed learning the Holy Quran and it challenged me a lot. I then decided to resume studying with more effort put thus learning in the shortest time you cannot imagine and I managed to complete memorizing the entire Holy Quran.
I therefore urge everyone who would like to learn the Quran to use your time effectively, in Allah, everything is possible. Do not be so busy not to spare time for spiritual growth. I thank TIC for promoting Islam.

When I had just started, I thought it was not possible to complete learning the holy Quran online but later, I realized that as long as you have passion and determination, it becomes easy.
At first, I used to memorize one page but as I went on, it became easier and I started memorizing two pages. I was given a personal teacher who always motivated me to put in more efforts, guided me through collecting my mistakes and responded to all questions which saw me perfect more quickly.
I thank Allah who made it possible for me to complete memorising the holy Quran and making TIC available for us to study conveniently.

I have so far learnt how to recite correctly ten (10) surahs from the Holy Quran although still in the learning process with Twahirah Islamic Center Online School. Currently, I am also memorizing it and, there is an evident difference and a tremendous progress in my journey of learning.
