Swalah is the second pillar of Islam and it is a privilege upon human kind by Allah (SWT). It holds many great attributes as we pray for nobody but for ourselves, as the reward is primarily for us.
The primary purpose of swalah is to act as a person’s communication with Allah, purification of the heart as the ultimate religious objective. Swalah brings Muslims closer to Allah and in turn strengthen their faith. Just as humans physically require food and supplement to stay healthy and alive, the soul requires prayer and closeness to God to stay sustained and healthy. In short, it spiritually sustains the human soul.
Swalah course aims at giving students the opportunity to improve their understanding of Swalah (Prayer). It develops a firm understanding of all matters related to the Swalah, improving it and ensuring one is praying according to the Sunnah, learn about the its various types prescribed in the Shari’ah among other topics. After the course completion, a student is able to perform Swalah well, following all the guidelines and teaching of the Sunnah.
