Twahirah Islamic Charity Organisation (TICO) is a non-profit and indigenous organisation established out of patriotic spirit to contribute to the welfare of underprivileged children, youth, women, disabled and elderly with the focus on their health, social and economic development. It strives to provide educational support to the underprivileged children, and it also empowers youths and women through technical and practical skilling to enhance economic development and growth.
We are a fully registered Non-Government Organisation with Registration Number INDR157054848NB and we operate countrywide; in Uganda.
TICO envisions overcoming absolute poverty and improving the welfare of the vulnerable through a number of programs like women empowerment, education sponsorship, relief, religious projects and girl child empowerment among others.
Twahirah Islamic Center is a religious and educational organization that is determined to spread and teach Islam across the world through various programs.
